On 29 April 2026, within the framework of the ESNI-NERM Conference in Brussels, the NutriBudget project will host a policy session aimed at supporting the development of evidence-based recommendations for policymakers to align regulatory frameworks and financial instruments that can make nutrient management cost-effective and attractive.

As EU climate policies continue to evolve, with initiatives such as the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) and carbon farming gaining momentum, the agricultural sector faces increasing pressure to reconcile environmental performance with economic competitiveness.
